Uploading your resources

The Resource Library is the central place in Site App Pro where all your important documents live — health and safety policies, safe work method statements, equipment manuals, emergency plans. Think of it as a shared drive built directly into your safety platform, accessible from both the Admin Console and the mobile app.

Adding a resource

  1. Click Resources in the left menu.

  2. Click Upload File.

  3. Choose a type:

    • File — for uploading a document from your computer

    • Certificate — for a document with an expiry date, like a compliance certificate

    • Web Link — for linking to an external URL, like a supplier's website

  4. Upload your file or enter the URL, and give it a clear, descriptive name.

  5. Click Save.

If you choose Certificate and enter an expiry date, Site App Pro will track it and surface it on your Dashboard when it's approaching.

Attaching resources to specific records

Resources don't have to sit only in the general library — you can attach them directly to a site, a piece of equipment, a user, or a supplier. This makes them much easier for your team to find in context.

To attach a resource to a site:

  1. Open the site's profile.

  2. Click the Resources tab.

  3. Upload the document there.

It's then accessible to your team when they select that site in the mobile app. The same process works for equipment profiles and user profiles.

Worth knowing: resources attached to a specific record are only visible to people with access to that record. Resources in the general library are visible to everyone.

Keeping things organised

As your library grows, use folders.

  1. Click the three-dot menu on the Resources page.

  2. Select Add Folder.

  3. Give it a logical name — Policies, SWMS, Emergency Plans — and move documents into it.

Any resource uploaded as a Certificate will also appear in the Certificate Summary widget on your Dashboard, giving you a rolling view of what's expiring in the next three months.
