If you have a large list of sites, jobs, or projects, you can upload them all at once using our CSV bulk upload feature. This is much faster than adding them one by one.
Note: In this article, we will refer to them as Sites, but your account may call them 'Jobs,' 'Projects,' 'Clients,' or 'Customers'.
Using the Bulk Upload Feature
To bulk upload Sites from a CSV file, you first need to ensure your file is in the correct format by using our template.
Log in to the Admin Console
Click Sites from the main menu.
Click the Downward Arrow icon
Select Bulk Upload.
Click ' Download Template' to download the correctly formatted CSV file.
How to Format your Site Bulk Upload Template:
Open the template file in your spreadsheet software (like Excel or Google Sheets).
Organise your existing list of sites into the columns of the template.
Save your completed template as a CSV file
Go back to the "Bulk Upload" screen in Site App Pro, click the 'Upload' button, and select the filled template file.
Your file will now be imported.
We recommend trying to upload 10 sites as a start to ensure your formatting is correct. If it works, that's great! Go ahead with the rest.
Following the CSV Template Rules
General
You can upload up to 1,000 sites at once.
Save your file in CSV format (.csv) before uploading.
Avoid extra spaces or hidden characters in any cell.
Dates
Use one date format across the whole file (e.g. 18 Jun 2025).
Match the Date Format dropdown in Step 2 when uploading the CSV file.
These rules apply to fields like: Scheduled start and Scheduled end
Common Mistakes
Mixed date formats (e.g. 06/18/2025 vs 18/06/2025).
Missing required fields (Name).
Email List: Use a comma to separate multiple email addresses (e.g.,
[email protected], [email protected]).
Note: Don't worry if it's not perfect. You can always edit or fix any details from within the Sites page at a later time.
