Sending a message

Learn how to send messages to your team from the Admin Console or mobile app, and how to view a record of all messages sent from Site App Pro.

For: Admins, Managers, and All Users (send from mobile)

The Messages feature lets you communicate directly with your team through the app — whether you're sharing an update, sending a reminder, or distributing a form for completion.


Sending a Message from the Admin Console

Admins and Managers can send messages to individuals or the whole team directly from the Admin Console.

  1. Log in to the Admin Console

  2. Click the Message Icon in the top-right corner

  3. Click the Send a Message to your Team dropdown

  4. Enter your message text — you can also attach an Ad-hoc Form or Resource

  5. Select your Recipients

  6. Click Send

Note: Recipients will receive your message as a push notification. They won't be notified if they haven't logged in, are logged into a different account, or have disabled notifications for Site App Pro on their device.


Sending a Message from the Mobile App

Any user can send a message from the mobile app — either to a specific team member or to everyone.

  1. Log in to the Mobile App

  2. Click the Message Icon in the top-right corner, or navigate to Messages from the menu

  3. Click New Message

  4. Select a specific user or choose Everyone as your recipient

  5. Enter your message and click Send

Note: Attachments are not available when sending from the mobile app. Messages are visible for two weeks — older messages are not displayed.


Viewing Message Logs

Message Logs show a record of all messages and emails sent from Site App Pro.

  1. Log in to the Admin Console

  2. Go to My Business

  3. Click Message Logs

From here you can filter by user name or email address, or export the full log using the export icon in the top-right corner.
