Monitoring blue notes

Blue Notes are your team's way of flagging issues in the field. This article covers where Blue Notes surface in Site App Pro and how to set up notifications so nothing gets missed.


Where Blue Notes Appear

On the Mobile App

Forms that contain a Blue Note display a blue icon on the To-Do List, making them easy to identify at a glance.

In the Activity Stream

Blue Notes appear in the Activity Stream on your Dashboard. Look for the blue icon against any form entry. You can also filter the stream to show only Blue Note forms.

  1. Log in to the Admin Console

  2. From the Dashboard, locate the Activity Stream

  3. Use the filter to select Blue Notes only

In Reports

Blue Notes are visible across several report types:

  • Completed Form Report

  • Form Report

  • Completed Calendar Report

To view a report of all Blue Notes across your organisation:

  1. Log in to the Admin Console

  2. Go to Reports

  3. Select Summary Reports

  4. Filter for Blue Notes

Note: You can export any of these reports to CSV using the download icon.


Setting Up Blue Note Notifications

You can configure individual users to receive an email or push notification as soon as a Blue Note is added. This is best suited for those that need to be across all blue notes/alerts.

  1. Log in to the Admin Console

  2. Go to Teams & Users

  3. Click the relevant user to open their profile

  4. Select the Details tab

  5. Scroll down to User Notifications

  6. Tick Blue Notes (Form Alerts)
