Setting up blue note snippets

For: Admins

If your team regularly adds the same explanations to Blue Notes, Snippets let you create a library of pre-set reasons they can insert in one tap. This saves time and keeps your reporting consistent.


Setting Up Snippets

  1. Log in to the Admin Console

  2. Click Resources

  3. Select the Fault Reasons/Corrective Actions tab

  4. Click the orange plus icon

  5. Enter a Code β€” a short label for the snippet (e.g. "EQUIP-FAULT")

  6. Enter a Description β€” the full note text that will appear when the snippet is selected

  7. Select the Form Type the snippet applies to β€” this ensures only relevant snippets appear on the correct forms

  8. Select a Category

  9. Click Save

Tip: Keeping your codes short and consistent makes the snippet list easier for your team to scan on the mobile app.


Using Snippets on the Mobile App

  1. Begin adding a Blue Note using any of the methods in Using Blue Notes

  2. Tap Insert a code/text snippet

  3. Select the relevant snippet from the list

The snippet text will populate the note field automatically. Your team can edit it further before saving if needed.
