If you have forms or resources that you need easily accessible in a physical location, turn them into a poster.
Creating the poster
Log into your Admin Console > Forms or Resources
Find the form or resources you'd like to turn into a QR code
Click the three dots next it (on the right)
Select Create QR Code
Choose either image or poster
Select Download (if using 'image'), or Create (if using 'poster')
Turning on Form Library for a form
A form needs Form Library turned on in its settings before its QR code will work. This applies to scheduled forms too.
Log in to the Admin Console
Go to Forms
Click the form in the list
Open the Form Settings panel
Turn on Form Library
Click Save
Important: Turning on Form Library also adds the form to the ad hoc forms (the Form Library) in the Site App Pro app, so your team can start it at any time, not just when it's scheduled.
Choosing the right format for you
There are two formats to choose from:
Poster: A Site App Pro poster with your own title and instructions attached
Image: a simple QR code PNG which you can add onto your own custom poster
Here is an example of our own poster:
Disclaimers and limitations
The QR code will only work if they have the Site App Pro app downloaded, and have a login to the organisation where the form has been created.
If you are subcontracting to a company with one of these QR codes, check with whether you have access with your site supervisor.
This is different than the Visitor Register QR code. To learn more, click here.
The QR code will work offline, as long as you have been logged in before going offline. (logging in requires a handshake between your device and our servers through Wifi/Data)
For Resources, the QR code will work offline as long as that resource has been explicitely downloaded prior to going offline. Learn more about Offline Resources here.
Multi-Site/Group usage:
If you have a group in Site App Pro with group-level forms or resources and people moving between different organisations, you're in luck! We recommend logging into your Group Admin Console to create these QR codes—the same process applies.
Here's a helpful tip to keep in mind: When you generate a QR code at the organisation level, it's specifically tied to that organisation. If someone from a different organisation tries to scan it, they'll encounter an error message.
The great news is there's an easy solution! Generate your QR code from the Group Level instead. This way, anyone with access to this form across other organisations can scan and complete it without any issues.
