How to Keep Your Site App Pro App Up-to-Date

To ensure you have access to the latest safety features and that the app performs reliably when you're on site, it's important to keep your Site App Pro app updated.

Here are the best ways to manage your app updates.


The Easiest Method: Turn on Automatic Updates

This is the recommended "set and forget" option. Your phone will automatically download and install new versions of Site App Pro as we release them, usually overnight when you are connected to Wi--Fi.

  • For iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings > App Store and make sure App Updates is toggled on.

  • For Android: Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, go to Settings > Network Preferences > Auto-update apps , and select "Over Wi-Fi only" or "Over any network."

The Manual Method: Update on Demand

If you need to check for an update and install it immediately, you can do so from your phone's app store.

  • For iPhone/iPad: Open the App Store, tap your profile icon in the top corner, and scroll down to see pending updates. Tap Update next to Site App Pro if it appears.

  • For Android: Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, select Manage apps & device , and then tap Updates available . Tap Update next to Site App Pro if it's in the list.


Troubleshooting: Reinstalling the App

If the app is behaving unexpectedly or a standard update seems to have failed, a fresh installation can often solve the problem.

Important: Before deleting the app, ensure all your completed forms (like pre-starts or toolbox talks) have been synced to the server by connecting to the internet.

  1. Make a note of your username and password.

  2. Delete the Site App Pro app from your device.

  3. Open the App Store or Google Play Store, search for "Site App Pro," and re-download it.

  4. Log back in with your details.
