Understanding Work Ready Scores (SAP 5.1)

For: Admins

Note: Training Management is part of the Training Management Module. It's included in some plans and available as an add-on on others. To activate it, contact your Customer Success Manager or [email protected].

Your Work Ready Score is a quick way to see how close a person, role, or group is to being fully compliant with everything they actually need to do.

What counts towards the score

Work Ready Score is the percentage of a person's (or group's) non-Optional assigned Requirements that are completed.

  • Required and Critical assignments both count the same way towards the score — Critical doesn't carry any extra weighting. It only affects how urgently something is flagged to the person, not the maths behind their score.

  • Optional assignments are excluded entirely from the calculation — not just excluded from counting as overdue, excluded from the score altogether. Someone can leave every Optional item undone and still show 100%.

Where you'll see it

Work Ready Score appears throughout Training, wherever it's useful to see compliance at a glance:

  • The Matrix and Register

  • People profiles

  • Job Roles and User Groups

  • Suppliers

  • A person's own Training Record

  • The header block of the Excel export from the Register

Your organisation (or group) also has its own overall Work Ready Score, which acts as a useful benchmark — if your organisation sits at 90% but a particular person is at 50%, that's a clear signal to follow up with them specifically.

Work Ready Score vs. Compliance Score

These are related but different things. Work Ready Score is the person- or group-level completion percentage described above. Compliance Score is a separate, dual-ring indicator shown on the Matrix — a Job Role score and an overall company score — and is a broader, company-wide view rather than a single person or group's own number.
